BioWare Veteran Returns to Helm of Struggling RPG Series

It seems like good news for fans who have been patiently waiting for any updates on BioWare's long-in-the-works action role-playing game, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. According to recent reports out of Electronic Arts (EA), a major player within the video gaming industry, former executive producer Mark Darrah has officially returned to his previous post at the studio as an advisor.

Darrrah previously served in this capacity until he left BioWare back in 2016 due reasons that remain somewhat unclear. At the time, there was much speculation surrounding what exactly led him away from one of gaming's most beloved franchises.

While details about Darrah’s return are scarce, his involvement does offer some measure of hope for fans who have been eagerly anticipating any news on Dreadwolf since its initial announcement at E3 2014 during a presentation by EA. The game was originally titled Dragon Age: Infinity before being rechristened as simply 'Dreadnought' in later stages development.

In addition to Darrah’s return, it has also emerged that the Mass Effect team will be lending their expertise towards helping shape the narrative of this upcoming installment within BioWare's popular RPG series. Given both franchises’ shared history with Electronic Arts and long-standing reputation for delivering engaging storylines through their titles, fans can certainly expect great things from such a combined effort.
